Tanvi Singhal’s research, “Integrating an Element of Play in Healthcare Environment for Children,” was featured on D’source – Design for Children, a design resource platform managed by IDC School of Design, IIT Bombay.
The research explores how thoughtfully designed healthcare environments can influence human behaviour and emotional well-being, reflecting a design philosophy that looks beyond appearances to consider how spaces make people feel.
It started on a terrace, not in a studio.
No large team, no established name – just a brief, and the discipline to treat it with the seriousness of something much larger. That first project became the foundation everything else was built on.

There was no grand studio at the beginning.
Just a terrace, a brief, and the decision to take it seriously.
Then came the homes.

The scale grew, but Tanvi stayed close to the work.

Those years changed the way she designed.
